Despite what fairy tales might have us believe, sometimes the shoe does not fit. New brand Sensational Soles aims to cater to women with larger feet who have difficulty finding shoes. The brand exclusively offers women’s sizes 11-14.
Rather than simply stretching out a sample size shoe, the brand designs a larger shoe from the sole up. The platforms, heels, and toe boxes are engineered for larger-sized feet. The designers ensure that the shoes provide both stability and comfort, as well as a sleek silhouette.
The debut collection includes 23 shoe styles including heels, sandals, and flats in materials like full grain leather, suede and satin for the uppers. Highlights are the Chelsea double strap pump with an oval toe and reinforced stiletto heel; the Bethany mid heel pump in snake-embossed leather; and the Juliana metallic ballet flat with a cap toe.
The line retails for $89 and is available now on Sensational Soles’ e-commerce store.
