Following a Fall ’17 collection embellished with chain fringe and studded hardware, Bernardo softens its look for Spring ’18 with rounded elements and flexible materials.
Bernardo launches its first range of rubber flip-flops this season. Retailing for under $50, the colorful line sports leather footbeds and gold Bernardo medallions for a luxury resort touch. The collection complements a new line of sport slides and the return of jelly sandals, this time updated with a cork footbed for extra comfort.
Circular elements are found throughout the spring line, spanning lightweight round wooden heels, to round brushed silver buckles and leather-covered hardware. Crescent-shaped toplines and sides of sandals create a starburst effect with triangular embroidery. Warm shades of mustard, red and tan leather and suede complete the summery story.
Slip-on sneakers are updated with round ornaments across the vamp. Round flat studs create a mirror effect on classic Bernardo sandals. Block heel slides and sandals return, refreshed in linen, denim and easy neutrals. Soft knotted straps add a relaxed look to espadrille flatforms and peep-toe shoeties.
The brand updates the Tori, a slide with full coverage on one side and gladiator-style straps on the other, in navy with white contrast stitching. Other iconic styles like the Maverick are renewed with a fresh salmon pink that is neither millennial or fuchsia.
Bernardo expands its popular rain boot collection to include a chic white boot with a black outsole. The brand reveals a playful side with a new series of translucent rain boots—offered in clear black, pink and blue—perfect for boldly printed socks.
