Coming off a fall season inspired by hardcore military designs and glam rock glitz, designer Ivy Kirzhner offers a playful yet sleek collection for Fall ’17.
The collection spans multi-color pompoms to Italian embroidered velvet, with an emphasis on elevated materials and wearable heels—a sign of Kirzhner’s city dwelling lifestyle.
The first drop, inspired by vintage circuses, taps into the trend for colorful fur trim with closed and open-toe slides. Chunky oxfords and velvet booties are embellished with crystal stars and heart-shaped appliques and gemstones.
Loafers with collapsible heels and leather slip-on sneakers with oversized knots are a smart casual look. Mirror heels in rose gold, copper and purple add a jolt of color to boots.
Those metallic touches are carried into a late-fall range of marching band-inspired footwear, including combat boots, hikers and boots with hidden wedges. A stand-out style is a grey cheetah print boot with rose gold hardware.
