What’s new from Marc Fisher Footwear? Square toes, enhanced comfort and a season of footwear fashion for all styles and needs. Here’s a look at what the company has planned for its shoe brands for Spring ’18.
Easy Spirit
The Spring ’18 collection is the first since the comfort brand was acquired by Marc Fisher Footwear in January. To accompany the new collection, Easy Spirit will introduce a refreshed logo, new packaging and tag line, “Move Easy,” beginning February 2018.
Along with new branding, Easy Spirit is offering updated color and upper materials for its popular Travel Time slide. The brand is expanding its range of athleisure styles to include lightweight perf sneakers (so light, they float), pull-on sneakers with stretchy knit uppers and sporty Mary Janes and sandals that can be dressed up or down.
Work to weekend looks include a line of colorful loafer slides and mocs with dainty bows. Footbed sandals get new look with espadrille bottoms, a base that gets carried into a line of slip-ons with subtle tropical prints. Cork bottoms help add a casual look to metallic sandals, offered in soft gold, silver and rose gold.
Easy Spirit adds a bit of height to the spring line with block heel mules. A favorite is a blue and taupe brocade version. Other professional styles include almond toe pumps—plain or with a bow—and a line of block heel sandals with wide straps, available in white, black, soft gold and sparkly denim blue.
Tretorn
Coming off the company’s first collaboration with Andre 3000, Tretorn rolls out updated versions of its signature Nylite model and the increasingly popular Rawlins7 retro runner.
For men, the sneaker brand plays with eternally cool camouflage outsoles, hiking laces and pops of neon. Denim uppers and splashes of white and gold paint add an edgy street look. Tretorn’s collection for women takes a leap with new materials, including playful gingham, star prints, silver and rose sequins and oil-like iridescent uppers. Woven leather uppers offer an elevated look.
Tommy Hilfiger
Riding high from the brand’s collaborations with Gigi Hadid, Tommy Hilfiger introduces a youthful range of espadrilles with EVA bottoms. The espadrille collection spans wedge sandals with woven ankle straps, to sporty flats with sequins, bandana, chambray and sailor stripe uppers. For Spring ’18, the brand is incorporating more branding, including shiny gold medallions placed atop vacation-friendly thong sandals.
Ivanka Trump
The Spring ’18 Ivanka Trump collection juxtaposes glamourous embellishments with low-key silhouettes. Standouts include Arizona-style double-strap slides with crystal buckles and a range of casual espadrilles that combines sporty scallop tread and oversized broaches.
Open toe mules as well as low heel cap toe pumps in elegant shades of powder pink, denim blue, pastel tweed and nude offer versatile work options. Suede slides with knotted uppers add an instant effortless chic look. Meanwhile, dress styles play with plumes of feathers, pearl embellishments and satin.
Marc Fisher LTD
It’s back to the ’90s for Marc Fisher LTD. Square toe wedge slides look new and fresh in white, silver, black and nude leather. The look is tone-downed in a range of crisscross strap slides and footbed sandals with toe loops. Silver baubles are an inventive alternative to stud hardware.
Espadrille flatforms and wedges make a big statement in the collection—both in quantity and in heel size. Neutrals, including white, gray, taupe and cognac, are core colors. However, pops of neon pink, lime and turquoise brings the espadrille collection to life. Marc Fisher LTD adds an espadrille element to the company’s line of sneakers. Espadrille sneakers embellished with leather stars are mixed in with knit slip-ons and high tops with bold two-tone uppers and soles.
Despite athleisure’s dominance in the market, the brand still believes there’s a time and place for dress shoes. Marc Fisher LTD’s dress collection standouts for its combination of trendy block, cone and wide stiletto heels and ladylike uppers like red patent leather, pink and purple suede and elegant brocades.
Guess
The Spring ’18 Guess collection offers equal amounts of casual and glam silhouettes. The denim brand answers the demand for athletic looks with a range of sneakers featuring bold branding elements as well as trendy logo sport slides. The brand also combines nylon uppers inspired by the outdoor market with oversized wedge heels.
Guess shows off its Hollywood roots in a line of dress shoes, including pointed toe stilettos offered in hot pink and cheetah print and sandals with sequin-coated straps and heels. Gilded wedges make a disco-era statement, while patent slingback stilettos—offered in lipstick red, black and tan—add a pin-up vibe to any look.
Kendall + Kylie
The Spring ’18 Kendall + Kyle collection is designed for a consumer that loves sport and stilettos. For dress, the brand builds on the success of its clear PVC booties by introducing new sheer black lace versions. The stiletto boots are complemented by a collection of stiletto sandals embellished with chain-like hardware and square toe sandals with clear heels.
Hardware is brought into a range of simple slides, available in electric shades of neon yellow and pink as well as classic white, silver and peach. Other styles feature fur footbeds and uppers and straps made from matching double bows.
Marc Fisher
The namesake collection smacks of Miami’s vibrant nightlife. For Spring ’18, the brand blends flirty colors like hot pink and purple suede with uppers made with tropical floral print and black shimmer. Asymmetrical toplines add an unexpected touch to classic pumps. Meanwhile, flat slides get a glamorous makeover with satin uppers and a spree of crystals.
Marc Fisher rounds-out the collection with everyday essentials, including wedge espadrilles with perf uppers, square toe slides with subtle stud detailing and studded sandals with walkable stack heels.
Sigerson Morrison
The elevated brand focuses on buttery soft leather and suedes, visually interesting wovens and textured leather for Spring ’18. Sigerson Morrison loosely twists leather into straps across a myriad of silhouettes, including square toe block heels, low heels and flats.
The brand introduces a tropical look through raffia fringe thongs and footbed sandals with multi-color woven outsoles. A standout style is a woven leather mule with a new-looking square open toe.
