Skecher’s latest collaboration, arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day, sees one muralist’s iconic heart designs take over a broad range of styles, from sneakers to rain boots.
James Goldcrown, known for his heart-filled Love Wall murals, teamed up with the casual sneaker brand to bring his Instagram-famous designs to footwear. The resulting Skechers x JGoldcrown collaboration reimagines numerous women’s and girls’ styles, including the brand’s Skechers Uno fashion sneakers, ‘90s retro Skechers Roadies sneakers, canvas slip-ons and slide sandals.
Skechers said it plans to launch an apparel collection “later,” with more footwear designs—including styles from its women’s performance and sport and foamies divisions—arriving in the spring and fall.
“James Goldcrown’s message of love and positivity is exactly what the world needs right now, and bringing his uplifting designs to our brand is something that we know Skechers fans everywhere will appreciate,” Skechers president Michael Greenberg said in a statement. “We’re excited to feature these iconic prints on styles from several of our divisions, including our BOBS from Skechers charity collection that has always spread the message of love by helping kids and shelter pets.”

Since Goldcrown publicly debuted his original Love Wall in 2015, his social media-friendly pieces have become world-famous, garnering more than 50,000 #Lovewall public hashtags. Today, Goldcrown works with brands in the lifestyle, restaurant, beauty and fashion industries, with his iconic design appearing in cities around the globe.
“Skechers gave me a lot of creative freedom when we were developing this footwear and apparel collection featuring the signature hearts from my Love Walls,” Goldcrown said in a statement. “We started on canvas originally, and then digitized the art to move it around the shoe for the perfect look. I think it’s a great time for this collaboration with everything that is going on in the world. Something as simple as a heart can really touch people—so hopefully we will spread some love.”
Initial styles in the Skechers x JGoldcrown collection are now available online and will launch in Skechers retail stores on Feb.4. Select international Skechers stores will debut the designs on Feb. 14.
