For a second consecutive year, Skechers Performance is partnering with the American Cancer Society to help in the fight to end breast with a month-long marketing campaign, limited edition products and the sponsorship of the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in San Francisco.
Through the month of October, Skechers Performance will offer the ‘Resistance’ collection, a range of five bestselling women’s footwear styles in a special black, white, charcoal and pink color palette. Each style features pink ribbon detailing on the heel to bring awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness month. The collection also offers performance apparel, including a sports bra, tank, leggings and jacket.
From Oct. 1- Oct. 31, consumers will have an opportunity to support the American Cancer Society by rounding up their in-store and online purchases to the nearest whole dollar to benefit the Making Strides initiative. The funds raised will support breast cancer research, help provide free information and services, and assist women in need to access mammograms.
“We are proud to partner with American Cancer Society and help their cause in the fight against breast cancer,” said Michael Greenberg, Skechers USA president, in a press release. “After seeing the success from last year’s campaign, we wanted to continue our support for a second year, and to help build awareness about all the incredible work that American Cancer Society does with their Making Strides initiative.”
