Sneakers at the End of the Rainbow: Adidas Celebrates Pride

What are the pains and actions brands across the industry are taking to try and become consumer-led? Join our webinar "Consumer-Led Retail: Optimizing Assortments at Speed" Sept 28th, featuring experts from MakerSights and DTC brand Taylor Stitch.

To celebrate Pride Month, Adidas Originals is releasing a limited-edition footwear series, The Pride Pack. The collection includes three of Adidas Originals’ most iconic silhouettes colorfully re-imagined with colors from the rainbow flag, the symbol of equality and diversity of the LGBT community.

The Stan Smith ($100) has multicolored laces and colored paint dripping from the perforations in the sneakers; the Adilette Slide ($50) is splattered with varying hues; and the Superstar’s ($100) sole and upper give the appearance of having stomped in a pool of rainbow paint.

Adidas will be donating a portion of the Pride Pack’s sales to Portland’s New Avenues for Youth, an organization that helps empower homeless and LGBT youth to build life skills.

The Pride Pack will be available June 6 at Adidas Originals stores, adidas.com and select retail partners.
