Children’s footwear brand Stride Rite has announced it will be releasing a new line of ‘Anti Stink’ Odor-Eliminating footwear for kids in collaboration with micro-encapsulation company Celessence Technologies.
Under a new licensing agreement with parent company Wolverine Worldwide, Stride Rite will utilize Celessence’s patented, motion-activated fragrance technology as a part of its Spring ’16 Made 2 Play sandal collection.
“Our technology is activated through touch, friction or motion. So when Stride Rite approached us about partnering to eliminate odor in kids shoes, we knew that Celessence would deliver fantastic results. As kids run and play, the pressure of each step provides a burst of freshness that eliminates odors and prevents smells,” said Shibani Mohindra, managing director of Celessence Technologies.
