Stuart Jenkins to Takeover Leadership of Shoes for Crews

Shoes for Crews (SFC), a leader in slip-resistant footwear, announced that Stuart Jenkins has been named president, chief executive officer, chief innovation officer and member of the board of directors.

Matt Smith, founder and current CEO, will become chairman of the board of directors of the company, and Stan Smith, the founder and current chairman, will become chairman emeritus. The changes will be effective beginning January 25, 2016.

Jenkins previously served as senior vice president, innovation and product development at Deckers Outdoor Corporation. He first joined Deckers in 2008 as president of Mozo, where he helped to launch the brand of protective footwear for the culinary services industry. Prior to Deckers, he worked at companies including Skydex Technologies, IMG Technologies/Sports Marketing Services and Performance Materials and Energy Shoe Company. He has also invented numerous technologies and holds 12 patents.
