The spookiest and most sweet-filled season of the year is underway, and Ugg’s newest collaboration is a treat for Halloween-loving tots.
The SoCal-based footwear and lifestyle brand known for its cozy shearling boots and slippers announced a new partnership with The Hershey Company and Foot Locker brands on Monday. The capsule, dubbed the Ugg Candy Collection, features three of the brand’s iconic silhouettes, reimagined in the form of America’s favorite confections.
New versions of the kids’ classic short boot, the kids’ Neumel lace-up boot and the infants’ Bixbee bootie have been inspired by three iconic candies–Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’s, and Twizzlers. Pulling from the bonbons’ unique silver, orange and red wrappers and iconic logos, the kids’ kicks will be available on Oct. 31 for $105-$145 in stores and online at Kids Foot Locker, Foot Locker, Footaction, and Champs Sports locations across the country.
One iteration of the Neumel boot features a sparkly metallic leather that mirrors the shiny Hershey’s Kisses wrapper, while the other showcases warm brown and orange suedes that call to mind a Reese’s peanut butter cup. The classic boot’s vibrant red suede is inspired, of course, by red licorice Twizzlers. Each style is lined with Uggplush, the brand’s signature soft interior lining material. Babies can also get in on the action with the tiny, plush Bixbee bootie, available in three colors to represent the featured candies.
The collection represents Ugg’s second drop during October alone. Earlier this month, the brand debuted a new line of adaptive footwear for wearers with disabilities with online shopping platform Zappos. Ugg Universal, available exclusively on Zappos.com, is the Deckers brand’s first foray into inclusive footwear. The capsule features two silhouettes—the classic short and the Neumel lace-up—re-engineered with discreet features like oversized zippers, rear pull tabs and stretchy toggle laces that make them easy to slip on and off.
And in a bid to get in on the candy craze, athletic apparel and footwear label Champion also announced a collection with iconic chocolate sweet brand M&Ms, debuting on Nov. 12. The line of easy-wearing slides and fuzzy slippers, available in black, grey, red, blue, orange and yellow, are perfectly suiting to quarantine styling, pairing a hint of whimsy with outright comfort and practicality.
