Vibram and Girls on the Run Launch National Fundraiser

Vibram announced a new partnership with Girls on the Run International. The soling company and distributor of Vibram FiveFingers footwear is working toward connecting Girl on the Run council members with local retailers to participate in a sales program that supports the charity — and potentially boost business its brick-and-mortars.

Girls on the Run International is a youth development program for girls in the third to eighth grades built to inspire healthy, joyful lifestyles with curriculum that creatively integrates running. This year, the program will reach its one millionth participant.

For all the retailers that join the give-back program, Vibram will donate five percent of the purchase price of any Vibram FiveFinger or Vibram-soled product, including New Balance, Hoka One One, Merrell, New Balance, The North Face and more. The sales program is available only through Girls on the Run and their council members and in-store.

Vibram CMO Allon Cohne said, “Not only do Vibram’s brand values align with Girls on the Run, but also with all our dozens of partner brands who support the mission of cultivating a love of running and active lifestyle from an early age as well.”
