To help small businesses during the start of the holiday shopping season, American Express will be hosting their sixth annual “Small Business Saturday,” a designated shopping holiday where Amex will provide small businesses with digital tools to help boost sales.
For this year’s Small Business Saturday, Amex is introducing the Shop Small Studio, a suite of digital resources that include event flyers and posters, “save the dates,” website badges, Facebook and Twitter cover photos and social media assets. Shop Small Studio also includes a content/instructional hub called ‘Small Business Saturday 101’ where they provide how-to guides for small business owners looking to make the most of Amex’s shopping holiday.
Also new this year, Amex will host three Small Business Saturday boot camps throughout October. Each boot camp will teach small business owners how they can engage their customers, advertise their business for the holiday, and maximize their presence throughout the holiday season.
Strategically placed throughout the U.S., the boot camps will be taking place in Chicago on Oct. 18, New York City on Oct. 20 and San Francisco on Oct. 27.
