Brooklyn-based DNA Footwear has a good reason to stock up on fall footwear. The fashion footwear retailer will launch a fundraising campaign for the month of October to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and its fight against breast cancer.
DNA Footwear will donate $5 for every $100 in retail sales through its seven locations and online store to NBCF, up to a $5,000 contribution.
“Breast cancer awareness is an important cause, as it will affect one in eight women in their lifetime,” said DNA Footwear CEO and Founder Daniel Kahalani. “DNA Footwear is committed to helping NBCF raise funds and awareness among the population. We are very excited to be working with the most highly visible and recognized breast cancer charity in America.”
Founded in 2004, DNA Footwear has grown organically throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan over the last 11 years to seven retail stores in addition to its international online shopping site. The store current styles from Birkenstock, Michael Kors, Clarks, Frye and more.
