Jessica Simpson is getting a digital makeover for its 10th anniversary. Sequential Brands, the parent company of the women’s lifestyle brand, is partnering with Delivery Agent, Inc., to amplify its online presence.
Through its proprietary commerce technology, Digital Agent allows consumers to engage with and complete transactions directly from media—music, advertisements and television—through personal computers, mobile devices or the television. The company also provides data analytics to maximize revenue potential through audience targeting and optimization.
For the first phase, consumers will have an opportunity to shop Jessica Simpson products via its own branded digital store. Subsequent launches will include shopping through Delivery Agent’s television app, ShopTV, as well as via social media platforms like Twitter. Simpson has curated a selection of hand-picked items from across the collection for the launch and beyond, including a special 10th Anniversary capsule collection that will be available worldwide.
“As we build the next chapter of the Jessica brand story, it is essential to create an omnichannel experience,” said Jameel Spencer, Sequential Brands division president of fashion and entertainment, in a press release. “Providing an opportunity to engage directly with the fans, and provide them with exclusive content, while transacting simultaneously, has always been a goal of Jessica’s. Through Delivery Agent’s platform, we are able to expose her fans to a totally new shopping experience,” he continued.
