Which Shoe Brands Nabbed a Spot in Neiman Marcus’ Coveted Christmas Book?

Register for the Feb. 17 webinar, De-Risking Supply Chains Through Nearshoring, today to learn how to realize the benefits of localizing supply chains from factories that are helping brands successfully produce in the U.S.

Over-the-knee shearling boots by Frye and scarlet velvet thigh-high stunners by Stuart Weitzman are among the fun, festive and pricey items that made it into Neiman Marcus’ highly anticipated Christmas Book for 2016.

Compared to the $1.5 million Cobalt Valkyrie-X private plane, painted in subtle rose gold, the catalog’s assortment of footwear is a bargain. Featured shoes include women’s Gucci velvet fur-lined mules ($850), feather-embellished Ugg boots ($320), Aquatalia boots ($495-$595) and metallic leather and fur Moncler boots ($755-$835).

For men, Neiman Marcus tempts with patent Salvatore Ferragamo loafers ($680) and leather Gucci sneakers ($640-$790).

The retailer also got dibs on exclusives, including velvet “Hangisi” flats and pumps by Manolo Blahnik ($955-$965), crystal embellished sandals by Tory Burch ($295) and a Timberland-inspired Buscemi boot ($1250).

Neiman Marcus carries on its tradition of presenting fantasy experiences. Big ticket items include a week at three English estates for $700,000, a slumber party for 12 at the Neiman Marcus flagship for $120,000 and a collection of 36 Caldecott Medal-winning children’s books for $100,000. Neiman Marcus donates a portion of fantasy gift sales to non-profit organizations.
