Every brand’s favorite shoe store, Nordstrom, plans to hire approximately 11,800 seasonal employees for the 2015 holiday season. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions are available. Some roles may become regular positions.
Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores will hire approximately 10,000 in sales and stock positions. The company will hire an additional 1,600 people to support its ecommerce business at fulfillment ceners located in Iowa, Pennsylvania and California.
HauteLook will add 150 seasonal roles in Los Angeles, meanwhile, the Trunk Club facilities in Chicago will hire an additional 100 employees for stock, inventory and customer experience.
Jamie Nordstrom, president of stores, Nordstrom, Inc., stated, “A lot of Nordstrom employees began their careers in a temporary or seasonal role. It’s one of the best ways to get your foot in the door, gain some great experience and we hope, begin a career with our company.”
