Sebago Celebrates 70th Birthday with NYC Pop-Up

Founded in 1946, Sebago, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, is celebrating 70 years of business with the launch of its Spring ’17 collection with a new pop-up store in Manhattan.

Located at Elizabeth Street in New York City, the pop-up store will feature Sebago footwear, apparel and accessories for both men and women. In honor of its 70th anniversary, the brand has reinvented some of its most famous silhouettes with new color updates, including their signature Docksides boat shoe and handsewn penny loafers, as well as a new women’s collaboration with Liberty Art Fabrics.

“In honor of our 70th Anniversary, it felt like the right time to celebrate the heritage of our shoes, while also showcasing how far we’ve come in the last seven decades,” said Dani Zizak, Sebago chief marketing officer. “The importance and reverence of craft has been with us from the beginning and continues to inspire us to deliver the finest products for a life well crafted.”

The store opens to the public May 2 and will run through August.
