ShoeBuy Aims to Enhance Online Shoe Shopping Experience

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

ShoeBuy.com launched its redesigned website last week, built to help customers truly enjoy the process of browsing and buying shoes online.

The redesign, which was based on customer feedback and consumer research, hones in on ways to help customers feel more confident in their online purchases. Updated features include a virtual fitting tool to help shoppers find their optimal size, customer reviews, the ability to chat live with ShoeBuy’s customer service team and style and trend news on the Inside the Box blog.

ShoeBuy CEO Mike Sorabella said, “We’re celebrating 15 years in business by building on this legacy. We want to create experiences for our customers that capture and combine the satisfaction and excitement of finding what they want with the confidence that they’ll be thrilled with their online purchase — every time.”

To coincide with the refreshed website, the company is offering customers who sign up for its ShoeFan Rewards program a $10 bonus through Feb. 25. Social media fans are invited to enter the “Share & Win What’s Inside the Box” sweepstakes to win up to a year of shoes. Prizes include a year’s supply of new footwear and 15 runners up will win $50 in ShoeFan Rewards.
