Shoes.com Appoints New Vice President of Retail and Brand

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Vancouver-based Shoes.com, parent company of Shoeme.ca and OnlineShoes.com, appointed Geoff Henshaw to vice president of retail and brand. He will be responsible for building out Shoes.com’s retail strategy and the company’s brand building efforts.

Most recently Henshaw spent two years in Australia as Coastal Contacts’ managing director of Australia and New Zealand, where he oversaw business strategy and marketing efforts. At Shoes.com, he’ll be joining a number of former Coastal Contacts employees including, CEO Roger Hardy and CFO Nick Bozikis.

“We’re excited to have Geoff join our executive team as we continue to grow and evolve the business,” said Hardy. “In addition to working on the brand, Geoff will play an integral position in rolling out our omnichannel plans.”
