Vibram Celebrates the Relaunch of Its Interactive Boston Store

Vibram has a fresh new look in Boston. The soling company’s redesigned Newbury Street store celebrated its grand re-launch on April 10 with a host of Boston-based business leaders and an inspirational speech from football legend Brian “The Boz” Bosworth.

New store features include a gallery of accomplished U.S. military, police, firefighters and outdoor enthusiasts who have worn Vibram soles, a customization center for consumers to choose from dozens of Vibram designs and colors to create their own, and a design area where aspiring footwear designers can sketch out their own Vibram shoe in a sketchbook or laptop.

The interactive store, complete with a coffee bar and lounge, continues to be a retail outlet for Vibram FiveFingers full line and select soling partners like Ahnu, Moccatomic and Scarpa.

“When we re-designed the Vibram Newbury Street Store we wanted consumers to immediately understand the heritage and innovation our brand represents,” said Allon Cohne, Vibram CMO. “We’re one of the largest footwear brands that many consumers haven’t developed a relationship with yet. We’ve soled, and sold more shoes than many of the largest footwear brands in the world. Now there is one place where consumers can get a glimpse of the past, present and with our partners, help design the future.”
