Nike Gained 2.9 Million Instagram Followers Last Month

Rivet's 2020 Denim Circularity report takes a deep dive into how the global denim industry is plotting its circular future amidst a worldwide pandemic.

Nike topped Stylophane’s list of the most “Instafamous” brands in February, gaining nearly three million followers on Instagram during the month, bringing its total to 37.7 million.

The digital marketing agency tracks the fastest growing brands on the photo sharing platform. Nike ranked first in both the agency’s footwear list and fashion brand list with ’grams promoting its AirMax Day in New York City and new Nike LunarEpic Flyknit.

Nike was followed by its regular league of competitors, including Adidas, Vans, Converse and Puma.

Designer labels Manolo Blahnik (#6) and Sophia Webster (#9) were the only dress brands to in the crack the top ten list which was otherwise dense with performance and boot brands, like New Balance (#7), Timberland (#8) and Dr Martens (#10).
