Fila has partnered with New York City-based Chicken and Waffle restaurant Sweet Chick for a tasty new sneaker collaboration.
Born of restauranteur John Seymour’s lifelong love of sneakers, Fila has produced two limited edition iterations of of its basketball silhouette, which align with the restaurants’ signature chicken and waffles dish.
The two sneakers are made of premium suede and come in red and cream colorways. Lace medallions featuring “Chicken” and “Waffles” appear on opposite sneakers. Other details for the pairs include a gum outsole, tumbled leather cage, dual collaborative logos on opposing tongues, a decorative logo detail on the back tongue and sock lining, and a custom foot-bed.
Custom packaging will include iconic cage box with dual branding, which will also be evident within the tissue paper and custom hang tag.
