Adidas to Open 3,000 New Stores in China

Adidas has plans to go bigger in China in the coming years, capitalizing on the country’s increasing enthusiasm for sports despite the economic slowdown, and the easing of its one-child policy.

The German sportswear retailer said it will open 3,000 new stores in China by 2020, bringing its total in the country to roughly 12,000. Most of the stores are slated for smaller cities.
