Aldo Founder Aldo Bensadoun is passing the baton to his eldest son, David Bensadoun. The footwear company announced Friday that David has been appointed chief executive officer, replacing Patrik Frisk effective April 3, 2017.
Aldo Group Inc. has a tradition of family collaboration. David joined the company in 1995 as a project manager and is currently serving in the role of President of ALDO Group North America (AGNA).
“I’m enormously proud to pass the baton to David who will continue the family legacy through his leadership of the company,” said Aldo Bensadoun. “To witness this transition is truly a dream come true for me. David’s passion for the business combined with his leadership abilities and unique vision give me every confidence in the future of our company.”
The company followed up the announcement with a series of management changes. Aldo Bensadoun named Jurgen Schreiber, a health and beauty industry veteran, as chairman of the Aldo Group Inc. Norman Jaskolka has been appointed deputy chairman and CEO of Sweet Park Holdings, which owns the Aldo Group Inc. and the other Bensadoun family investments.
