Under Armour unveiled the Curry 3, the latest addition to its line of shoes with NBA star Stephen Curry.
The innovative technology that the Curry 3 offers includes threadborne, an Under Armour creation which gives lightweight, directional strength and support through a braided thread that wraps around a larger, corded panel.
The shoe also delivers Meta-Wing, which provides heel support, Anafoam, Charged Cushioning and Herringbone Traction to give the shoe lightweight support, balance, speed and durability.
“Stephen is an exceptional basketball player whose talent is only exceeded by his will to be better every day, on-and-off the court,” said Dave Dombrow, Under Armour chief design officer. “Our team is inspired by Stephen’s passion for the game and his ingenuity has driven our partnership to create the world’s most technically innovative shoe in the Curry 3, and to keep driving performance footwear forward in-step with the back-to-back MVP.”
The Curry 3 mid style sells for $140 on Under Armour’s website and in the Shop App, while the SC Camo colorway follows on Oct. 27.
