Première Vision New York to Dish Fall ’17 Leather Trends

In an effort to be “a true platform for all aspects of sourcing,” Première Vision New York will host for the first time separate seminars dedicated to manufacturing and leather during the July 19-20 show at Manhattan’s Pier 94.

Megan Donadio of Kurt Salmon will offer insights on the current state of manufacturing in the U.S. Meanwhile, Libra Leather Founder Mitch Alfus will lead a presentation on the new themes for Fall/Winter 17-18 leather.

More than 350 exhibitors are slated to present their Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collections at the sourcing destination. Along with fabrics and textile design, attendees will have the opportunity to learn the new trends and directions through seminars and exhibits.

Première Vision New York is also joining forces with New York’s crème de la crème in fashion, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

The Paris-based trade show organizer announced Wednesday, that through its renewed partnership with the CFDA, it will be better equipped to offer designers more targeted services and support at the upcoming show and beyond. The partnership comprises various initiatives, including aiding young brands and designers with small-scale orders and fashion presentations for CFDA members. Future cooperation will extend to manufacturing, a concentration Première Vision has been building resources for since the start of the year.
