Bearpaw Debuts First Apparel Collection

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Boot brand Bearpaw is heading into an entirely new direction with the launch of its new line of outerwear.

The company unveiled the debut of its first collection of apparel, consisting of men’s and women’s jackets.

“We have grown our footwear into what we think is mainstream and middle America,” said Bearpaw President John Pierce. “We felt that at this time where our footwear is going we should do an outerwear line and it is perfect for the consumer going into the fall and winter season.”

For women, Bearpaw’s Fall ’16 collection offers an array of jackets, including the Fargo, a light jacket with elastic taping, and the Fairbanks, featuring dual polar and coral fleece linking, a detachable hood, and injected zippers and snow belts.

Bearpaw men’s line delves into outerwear with three jackets; the Bozeman, a packable down jacket that comes with its own travel bag for the man on the go; the Washington, a knitted, sweater fleece jacket with piping details; and the Duruham, a medium-weight piece with three zippered pockets and a removable hood.

The collection retails for $29.99-$189.99 in select stores and online.
