Bearpaw announced a step toward expanding its footprint in Western Europe Tuesday.
The Californian footwear company has signed on new partners from various companies to help with the Western European markets for Fall ’17. During the initial phases of expansion, the company will focus on footwear, offering products mirroring those offered in Bearpaw’s North American stores. Bearpaw plans to move forward with its existing partners throughout Scandinavia, Baltics and Central and Eastern Europe.
“Our Bearpaw team has created a great stable of quality, comfortable, and stylish products and with new representatives in place, we look forward to bringing these products to more European consumers,” said Bearpaw VP of International Sales Kevin McDonald.
The company has been focused on expanding its presence in North America, launching outerwear collections last winter and accessories for Quagga Accessories, LLC, launching Aug 1. The brand is also enhancing its footwear offering with more lightweight athleisure styles and fashion-forward boot designs.
“Based on the strong foundation that we have built here so far, now is the right time to further expand our efforts to creating a sturdy base in Europe,” said John Pierce, Bearpaw president.
