Bosnian Shoe Company Designs Heels for Melania Trump

A Bosnian shoe company has given Melania Trump, wife of U.S. residential candidate Donald Trump, its political and fashion endorsement.

BBC News reported that footwear manufacturer Bema, located in the Bosnian Serb Republic, pledged to design two custom pairs of shoes for Slovenia-born Trump.

One pair will feature memory foam insoles so Trump can “walk across America” in comfort. The second pair will be white leather high heels for Trump to wear as she takes a “victorious walk into the White House.”

Bema Technical Director Marinko Umicevic told a local tabloid, Blic, that the shoes will be a reminder of where she grew up and that he hopes Trump will “imbue U.S. politics with a bit of Balkan mentality, and bring kindness and soul to it.”

Trump was recently on the receiving end of some harsh criticism for both the allegedly plagiarized speech she gave at the Republican National Convention and for the $675 Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps she wore on stage.
