Canoos Debuts Canvas Sneakers for the Golf Course

Canoos unveiled it latest effort to bring a relaxed look to the putting green. The golf footwear brand, which debuted boat golf shoes in 2012, recently launched canvas golf shoes.

Designed to look like a traditional preppy sneaker, the patented golf shoe features flexible, water-resistant, double-stitched canvas uppers. Rawhide laces and a 10-eyelet upper profile ensure a secure fit. A breathable OrthoLite insole provides comfort and swing stability.

The men’s canvas golf shoe is offered in three colorways—sand, navy and grey—and retails for $105.

Co-founders Josh Hannum and Matt Freedman created Canoos with a simple mantra in mind: “Relax, it’s golf.” In 2012, the company began selling boat golf shoes that combined laid-back style with comfort and performance on the golf course.

“Just like our original boat golf shoes, the canvas shoes are all about providing a functional and fun footwear alternative for golfers. The response from our pro shop partners has been overwhelming and we’re excited to be launching the canvas shoes online to our customers,” said Hannum.

Canoos’ footwear is equipped with patented soft spike outsoles. The molded spikes are manufactured from firm but flexible rubber delivering traction, while remaining soft enough to tread on any indoor surface.
