The brand is just the latest in a long line of apparel and footwear brands, like Nike, selling via the e-tailer, which saw double-digit growth in its footwear sector during the first half of the year.
Since launching in 2014, Canoos has exclusively sold through partner stores around the country and online through its e-commerce store. Now, the brand aims to reach a larger audience.
“We’re very excited to be working with Amazon and to see Canoos offered for sale on their site. Like many companies, we launched Canoos with cool ideas and ingenuity,” said Canoos Co-Founder Josh Hannum. “We’re very proud of all of our pro shop partnerships and our direct e-commerce business, and to see the product now available on Amazon is another great testament to the growth of the brand.”
The Amazon partnership comes after Canoos was awarded a patent for its original boat golf shoe.
“This has been a great time for Canoos. Over the past month, we were awarded a patent for our Original Boat Golf Shoe, we completed a successful venture with the USGA and Team USA for the Walker Cup, and we’re now listed for sale with Amazon,” said Will Bacas, Canoos brand manager. “We’re very proud of the work our team has put in to make an incredibly comfortable, performance golf shoe, and our recent successes reflect that.”
