Ccilu, a lightweight sneaker brand, announced Iván Pastor Lafuente as its 2017 Ambassador.
Pastor, a four-time Olympian and five-time International Sailing Federation (ISAF) World Champion, embodies the brand’s emphasis on realizing one’s dreams.
“We say, ‘liberate yourself and your next step is clear,’ and this is evident in everything Iván has accomplished,” said Ccilu Founder Wilson Hsu of the newly selected brand ambassador.
From Alicante, Spain, Pastor is training for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Ccilu drew inspiration from the Olympic committee’s selection of the ‘ichimatsu moyou’ pattern of Japan’s golden age as its event logo, which symbolizes courage and elegance, for the brand’s new Horizon collection.
“I am very proud to be part of the Ccilu family,” said Pastor. “Ccilu style is backed up by comfort, backed up by technology. It gives me the feeling that I’m ahead of the rest, the same feeling I get when I am leading a race.”
