The collaboration with Khaled follows the sneak peak of the boot brand’s Spring ’17 Campaign.
Khaled co-designed the shoe and developed the concept of ‘Securing the Bag,’ or securing the money. The concept is reflected in the boot’s dark green upper. The Timberland emblem is stamped in a bright red to connect to the old way in which money was printed with a red treasury seal. The boots feature the signature Timberland waterproof premium suede upper, 400 grams of Prima Loft insulation for extreme weather and a padded collar for comfort. The boots retail for $200 in Champs Sports stores nationwide and online.
The Secure the Bag boot launched in tandem with a video game by the same name. The game, available now on desktop and mobile devices, features the boot as a power tool for users to utilize on Khaled’s jet skiing adventure through Miami.
