Christian Louboutin Ditches Heels for Sporty Henri Collab

Christian Louboutin has partnered with Sporty Henri, a new sport and style e-concept store for men, for an exclusive capsule collection.

The collaboration features four limited-edition styles, each based on Sporty Henri’s men’s sneaker silhouettes, including high top and low rise styles. The sneakers maintain the classic Sporty Henri color palette of white, cobalt blue and black along with the brand’s logo, as well as a red sole in a nod to Louboutin.

“For me, clothes are an extension of myself, they let me express something about who I am, about my personality, but also they let me explore it,” said Sporty Henri Founder Henri Tai. “It is this vision that I want to bring to life with, and here it takes form through this wonderful capsule collection of trainers by Christian Louboutin, which I feel very privileged to offer our clients exclusively.”

Sporty Henri launched in April 2016, and offers shoppers looking for athletic wear a unique experience through its online shop, which includes style and fit advice from experts in the field. The collection represents the second collaboration between Louboutin and Tai, after the two teamed up on celebratory outfits for the Cuban national delegation at the recent Rio Olympics.

“It’s a real pleasure for me to touch and create some exclusive designs which, I think, represent the values that are dear to Henri: sport mixed with style in a fun and colorful way,” said Christian Louboutin. “I am thrilled to be part of the new adventure of, and I wish their team and their clients all the best in a sporty and stylish world.”

The shoes are available now through Sporty Henri’s website, as well as at select Christian Louboutin flagship boutiques worldwide.
