Cienta Grows U.S. Footprint Through E-Commerce

Children’s footwear brand Cienta Shoes is experiencing a growth spurt.

The Spanish brand, best known for its canvas sneakers, revealed it is in the final stages of launching its first-ever e-commerce website in the U.S. The website is slated to go live at the end of July in time for back-to-school shopping season.

The e-commerce site is in addition to ongoing strength at retail. The brand recently added Bloomingdale’s, Amazon, Saks Fifth Avenue and Von Maur to its roster of retail partners.

Cienta aims to keep the momentum going with the addition of florals, glitter and multi-colored outsoles for Spring ’17.

“Year over year, Cienta continues to see a steady increase in sales in the U.S. market, with the biggest boost coming from the introduction of Cienta Shoes on Amazon and at Bloomingdale’s,” said Cienta National Sales Director Nicolas Alonso. “The continued momentum for the brand is also propelled by our very loyal consumers, social and online influencers who are responding to our fun and unique prints and styles as well as our continued give back programs,” he continued.
