Clarks Introduces a New Lifestyle Sneaker

Clarks rolls out its next phase in the evolution of its Trigenic concept.

The UK brand introduces the Trigenic Evo on Friday, a new lifestyle sneaker for men and women based on its 1883 Hygienic shoe. The concept adapts the shape of the shoes to mirror the foot with a sole that is decoupled into three parts to aid natural movement.

The Trigenic Evo, which follows the Trigenic Flex launched in January, is designed from an asymmetrical last shape with elastic fastenings for extra support and a triple density footbed for maximum comfort. The three-part outsole is made with curved beveled edges that effortlessly rolls across the ground. The men’s styles feature a Vibram footbed for added durability.

The shoe retails for $180 and come in white, black, cola and grey leather for men, and black and white for women.

Attendees at the Clarks Originals pop-up at the Philadelphia store Ubiq will get a first look at the Trigenic Evo Collection on Friday during an in-store event. From August, through until the end of October, the pop-up shop will host monthly panel series based on its “The World Needs Originals” campaign, featuring local and influential creatives such as photographers, musicians and artists.

Guests will also have exclusive access to the first drop in a 12-pin series in collaboration with Ubiq and Pintrill, which feature key Clarks Originals styles.
