Converse Debuts Colorful Pride Collection

The Rivet 50 is calling for nominations for leaders in the denim industry in 5 categories: design, influencer, leadership, sustainability and supply chain. Nominations close on May 23.

Converse debuted a limited-edition collection of Chuck Taylor All Stars and Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s specifically designed with the LGBTQ community in mind.

Offering bright yellows, oranges, and every color of the rainbow, the sneakers feature ’70s-inspired patchwork and mesh overlay patterns on top of classic Chuck Taylor silhouettes. Customizable options are also available online. The Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s show pride from the footbed to the heel, which offers a fun terry cloth rainbow stripe.

Net proceeds of direct sales from the 2017 Pride Collection goes towards It Gets Better and The Happy Hippie Foundation, which support the LGBTQ communities.

The collection is available now online and in select retailers.
