Creative Recreation, a division of Rocky Brands, made two big announcements regarding the long-term growth of the company this week. The footwear brand has announced it’s signed actor and musician Nick Jonas as new brand ambassador. At the same time, Jack Oerth has been named new president of Creative Recreation.
“As we continue to reestablish Creative Recreation as a must-have fashion brand with consumers, Jack brings a depth of industry knowledge and, most importantly, relationships in the retail community to the table,” said David Sharp, president and CEO of Rocky Brands. “He has a clear vision for the brand and is providing valuable leadership, particularly as it relates to our advertising and promotional spend.”
Under Oerth’s guidance, Creative Recreation has just announced a partnership with Nick Jonas, who will be developing a signature line of unisex shoes to be launched in January 2017. In addition, he will make personal appearances and be featured in Creative Recreation’s fall advertising campaign.

His collection will be a focal point as we seek to build our women’s business and continue to extend our brand into new retail channels.”
