DSW Taps Into the Customization Craze

Now DSW shoppers can add stickers, appliques, charms and more to their new pair of shoes. DSW announced Thursday an exclusive partnership with Los Angeles-based personalization company Trend:Bar.

DSW knows a thing or two about making its shoppers happy—the shoe retailer continues the effort by jumping into the customization craze.

Trend:Bar aims to help shoppers customize their favorite pair of new kicks bought from DSW, with an array of reusable options and a low-cost items that customers can apply to products themselves.

“Fashion is an expression of who you are and a reflection of your personal style, so partnering with TREND:BAR and offering our customers the opportunity to personalize their favorite footwear or accessory was a no brainer,” said Todd Dreith, GMM – men’s, athletic, kid’s, handbags & accessories.

Trend:Bar will also sells fabrics to create an even more customized look, and shoppers can apply the items to bags as well.

Trend:Bar items start at $1.99 and are sold in select DSW stores and online.
