Dr. Martens, known for its workwear-inspired edgy silhouettes, has teamed up with Lazy Oaf, a London-based brand known for its playful, feminine style, for ladylike updates to two of Dr. Martens’ iconic silhouettes.
Dr. Martens’ 1461 style gets a heart-shaped update thanks to a sprinkling of red hearts along the upper in a polka-dot like pattern. The shoes feature velvet laces, a sockliner touting both brands’ signatures and Lazy Oaf’s ‘Don’t Care’ slogan on the back strap heel. A Goodyear welt and PVC sole round out the style.
With Lazy Oaf’s touch, the Dr. Martens Jungle Boot will come with a double-platform sole and frilly front detailing along the vamp. A zip-up fasten with heart-shaped ring pull and a leather bib with vertical ribbon laces add a feminine touch to the combat boots.
Both styles are available on the Dr. Martens website, the 1461 Oaf for $135 and the Jungle Boot for $220.
