Put your ideas to paper. Fashionary, the makers of fashion sketchbooks, released its first “Shoe Design” book and sketchbook last week.
The book offers designers and shoe lovers a complete handbook to the design process, including a 38-page encyclopedia covering shoe measurements, manufacturing, patterns, shoe labels and trade fairs, and a shoe style library of over 300 styles of shoes from historical times to modern day classics.
“Shoe Design” also features 60 shoe templates and 12 footwear last templates for tracing with multiple angle views.
The coordinating shoe sketchbook includes 300 pre-printed templates of styles spanning sneakers to stilettos, in three different heel heights. The barely-visible templates are in proportioned foot silhouettes and include all of the essential shoe information about that style a footwear ingénue, or veteran, might need during his or her design process.
