Coming off of her successful collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, Gigi Hadid takes another swing at designing. This time, Hadid collaborates with Stuart Weitzman for the Fall 2016 line and the Gigi Boot.
Stuart Weitzman described the boot as a “hiker-inspired high heel combat bootie.” The bootie comes in three materials, nero soft croco-calf leather and two metallic which include iron specchio and copper glass. The style is packaged in a Gigi signature box.
The campaign features a video, directed by James Franco, titled #doitright. The video will begin the Gigi Boot’s worldwide retail premier, and showcases a boxing Hadid, wearing the Gigi Boot and defeating her male opponents.
The short film is meant to mirror Hadid’s real life workout routine—minus the boots, and takes place in Brooklyn’s iconic Gleason’s Gym. The video gets an upbeat rhythm by being set to the tune of “Do it Right” by Martin Solveig and Tkay Maidza.
The shoes sell for $565-$598, and are only available in Stuart Weitzman stores and online.
