Hoka One One, owned by Deckers Brands, adds triathlete Kristen Kasper and ultrarunner Tim Freriks to its impressive athlete roster.
Kasper is a member of the 2016 World Championship mixed team relay, and is ranked third in the World Triathlon Series. As a trail runner, Freriks won runner-up at the Lake Sonoma 50 mile in 2016. He previously ran track for Northern Arizona University.
“Both Kirsten and Tim have made waves and demonstrated even bigger potential on the world stage of triathlon and trail ultrarunning, respectively,” said Mike McManus, Hoka One One senior sports marketing manager. “We are thrilled to have them on the roster as they work to become some of the very best in their sports.”
Hoko One One is gaining momentum in the running world. The brand’s sales increased 32.7% for FY 2017.
