Manolo Blahnik’s Documentary Gets North American Distribution

Manolo Blahnik’s story is heading to the big screen near you. Music Box Films acquired the North American rights to the high-profile designer’s documentary.

Titled Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards, the film offers a behind-the-scenes look into the world of Manolo Blahnik as he explains his career and love of shoes. Fashionable cameos in the film include Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, former Vogue Editor-at-Large Andre Leon Talley, model Iman, designer Isaac Mizrahi, model Karlie Kloss and more.

According to Screendaily, the film’s North American debut is set for the fall.

“We are thrilled to give audiences an insightful look at one of fashion’s most talented artists,” Music Box Films’ director of theatrical distribution Brian Andreotti told Screendaily. “We look forward to working with Manolo Blahnik, Content Media, and the creative team behind the film.”
