The Nike App is Now Available in Europe

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

The Nike App extends its reach by debuting in six European countries.

The app, which launched in the U.S. in August 2016, is now available in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, allowing Nike Plus members in these countries access to exclusive benefits and expert services, and a personalized selection of Nike product.

The app offers European shoppers a new array of perks. Nike App members in London can use the app to gain access to the city’s top football clubs on game day, while Parisian members can get styling help from top editors. Runners in Berlin can earn reserved product, while Amsterdam footballers have the option of free custom boot embroidery. Not to mention, the app will also unlock training tips and routines from the world’s top athletes.

The app’s European expansion comes soon after Nike announced its new Consumer Direct Offense plan designed to reconnect with consumers. The newly formed organization, Nike Direct, is part of the plan, aimed to unite physical and digital retail through apps.
