Nike Creates Special Edition Air Jordans for Obama

President Barack Obama is leaving the White House in style, thanks to Nike.

As a farewell gift, the sneaker company made the outgoing president a special edition pair of Air Jordans, complete with a presidential seal on the tongue. A special wooden box with the seal was also included as part of the presentation.

The 44th president was gifted with the shoes by St. Louis Cardinals center fielder Dexter Fowler. Photos of the sneakers were posted on Instagram by Fowler and reposted by fans of the shoe.

Fowler visited the White House with the Chicago Cubs during President Obama’s last week in office. The Cubs made the special trip to Washington D.C. to celebrate their 2016 World Series win.
