Nike + SNKRS Honor Basketball Through 12 Soles

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Nike celebrates basketball through the release of 12 soles, an extensive collection of silhouettes meant to show the past, present and future styles of basketball sneakers.

Coming off being named America’s Most Wanted Sneaker by a recent poll, Nike continues to bridge communities and backgrounds through their expertise in athletic wear. Not to mention their new technologies designed for winter.

The collection runs the gamut of basketball sneakers from classic silhouettes to some of Nike’s more daring uppers.

The line offers Nike’s classic Air Force 1, including its latest renditions of the SF AF-1 and AF-1 Upstep Warrior, Nike Air Max 2 Uptempo, Nike Zoom and three Jordan icons: the Air Jordan IX Retro, Air Jordan XI Retro and Air Jordan XVI Retro.

The sneakers within 12 Soles are scheduled to go on display at the Nike Soho store, which opens Nov. 11. The collection will be available Dec. 3 on Nike + SNKRS, Nike’s website and in select stores.
