Emerging footwear brand Liuid has announced a new collaboration with New York Jets player Brandan Marshall for a good cause.
The collaborative shoe for both men and women launched on Friday, with $18 from each shoe sold going towards Marshall’s Project 375 charity, which works to eradicate the stigma around mental health by raising awareness and improving care for those in need.
“Partnering with Project 375 has been the perfect fit for our first collaboration,” said Liuid founder Stan Hu. “Due to my service in the military and its inherent connection to PTSD, I can personally relate to the importance of mental health awareness and the stigma that surrounds it.”
Available in a white colorway for women and a black colorway for men, the collaborative shoe features neon green accents and a green underlay. The overall design signifies being able to “see through” the stigma surrounding the issues of mental health, with the heel tab boasting the campaign’s hashtag, #IAmAware.
Available for $79, the shoes can be purchased through Liuid’s website.
