Recovery footwear company Oofos is casting a wider net with an expanded collection of sneaker-inspired silhouettes.
Best-known for sport sandals and clogs, the brand announced Tuesday the launch of new OOmg low and high shoes. The full-coverage styles feature a 4-way stretch mesh upper that conforms to the foot for comfort while also allowing for the foot to move naturally to enhance the recovery process. The shoes provide all the recovery benefits of the brand’s proprietary material, Oofoam, which absorbs 37 percent more impact than traditional footwear.
“In response to our consumers, we are thrilled to launch our first-ever full-coverage recovery shoe,” said Duncan Finigan, OOFOS brand leader of marketing. “The new OOmg collection features a break-through concept in shoe construction that allows them to have the full benefit of the OOfoam technology and OOFOS patented foot bed all year-round.”
The collection retails for $120 for the low silhouette and $130 for the high. OOmgs are available now in women’s sizes at select retailers and online. Men’s sizes will launch in 2018.
