OrthoLite, a leading provider of comfort and performance insoles, announces the hire of former Nike senior product training specialist Larry O’Brien as its new key account sales manager.
The American-owned and -operated company is confident that bringing O’Brien on board as a member of its sales team will help strengthen and grow its longtime partnership with Nike across all categories. It sees his relationship with Nike, both in the U.S. and Asia, and his extensive product development background as definite assets to securing OrthoLite’s position as a leader in the athletic category and reinforcing its role with each of its brand partners.
O’Brien comes to OrthoLite after 27 years at Nike. He started his career as a Nike store manager, then became an EKIN technical representative, before working his way up to a senior exec position in product development, where he trained other Nike product developers.
OrthoLite has maintained customer and partnership loyalty and improved sell-through for more than 250 shoe brands throughout the years because their insoles retain all attributes, such as long-lasting cushioning, unmatched breathability and moisture management for the lifetime of a shoe. Its products can be found in more than 400 million adults’ and children’s shoes across all categories each year, including Nike, Adidas, Clarks, Converse, Reebok, Timberland, Lacoste and Vans.
